Description:
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000. This manufacturing facility located in MA is in need of a strong hands-on style Department Manager for its multi-spindled screw machine division. You will oversee approximately 40 employees, and be responsible for all new product job quoting, product introduction and launches, production scheduling, and meeting delivery dates. You must be a team player, with a “coach and mentoring” style management approach. A quality minded individual with a minimum of 7 years experience managing a department, along with hands-on experience doing setups, machine layouts, tooling, and troubleshooting in a high volume multi-spindled screw machine environment, will land this opportunity. Experience with Acme, Gildemeister, New Britain, and/or Wickman multiple spindled screw machines, and CNC machinery is required. A degreed individual is preferred.
